Sean Janzen is the founder of Janzen Law APC, a California civil-litigation attorney who represents employees, employers, business owners, and individuals facing consequential legal issues. His practice focuses on employment law, business and civil litigation, contract matters, and select personal-injury claims.
Sean understands that legal problems often affect far more than a single dispute. For employees, a workplace issue can affect income, career opportunities, and personal well-being. For employers and business owners, a claim, compliance concern, contract conflict, or ownership dispute can disrupt operations and create significant financial risk. He takes the time to understand the facts, explain the available options, and help clients make informed decisions about how to move forward.
Before founding Janzen Law, Sean developed experience in civil litigation representing clients in California state court and the United States District Court for the Central District of California. His background includes civil defense as well as plaintiff-side representation. That perspective helps him assess cases from more than one angle, anticipate the issues that may arise, and develop strategies tailored to each client’s goals.
Sean represents employees in matters involving wage-and-hour concerns, retaliation, whistleblower claims, wrongful termination, discrimination, and sexual harassment. He also advises California employers and businesses on employment compliance, wage-and-hour and classification concerns, workplace practices, contracts, corporate governance, business disputes, and collections.
Known for his personal and practical approach, Sean believes legal representation should provide clarity, not create more uncertainty. He is committed to helping clients identify the real issue, evaluate their options, and pursue a solution that protects what matters most.
